Barcelona is an impressive city. La Rambla is fascinating with a superb market and lots of street entertainers
Also included was a visit to the Cordoniu Cava winery with its impressive underground cellars, so big they have to give ‘street’ names to each corridor to avoid getting lost and containing countless bottles of maturing Cava. To get around it they had their own train service.
I found the high altitude in Andorra quite a challenge, as did several others. At the highest point in the area I felt decidedly uncomfortable. I don’t think I’d been anywhere that elevated previously. I am clearly unsuited to high altitudes.
